AION 2 Twitch Drops

AION 2 has an official Twitch Drops page, and you can already link your accounts there, but NC has not announced a campaign: no dates, no list of rewards and no watch-time targets. Linking now costs nothing and means you are ready when one starts.

Linking your accounts

1. Open NC’s Twitch Drops page It is at aion2.plaync.com/en-us/twitchdrops, with two buttons: Watch on Twitch and Link Your Twitch Account.
2. Press Link Your Twitch Account A window opens on NC’s account site, where you connect Twitch to your NC login.
3. If you play on Steam, pick the Steam icon The page itself says so: “Playing AION 2 on Steam? Select the Steam icon when you link your account.”
4. Watch AION 2 on Twitch during a campaign Progress counts on any participating channel, so you can switch streams without losing it, and you claim each Drop from Twitch’s Drops Inventory.

Which launcher you use matters beyond Drops: a Steam login and a PURPLE login with an NC account are not automatically the same account. Steam or PURPLE explains how the two connect.

Who can claim them

The Drops FAQ on NC’s page answers this directly:

“Drop rewards are available to AION 2 Global server players only, so players on the Korea and Taiwan servers aren’t eligible.”

So anything you see about Drops in Korea or Taiwan says nothing about the global game, and the reverse. The two services are separate in more ways than this; the Taiwan and Korea page covers them. The same FAQ says that if a claimed reward has not arrived in the game, the next step is NC’s support site.

When a campaign might start

NC has not said. The page describes rewards that you earn by watching AION 2 streams during a live Drops campaign, and rewards that land in the game only matter once there is a game to land in: Early Access opens on 30 September and the free launch is on 5 October, as set out on the release date page. When NC announces dates and rewards, expect them on its Drops page and its notice board.
