AION 2 max level
NC has not announced the level cap for the global launch. The only global number so far is 37, the limit during the Launch Scale Test. In the Korean version the cap was 45 until the Chapter 1 update raised it to 50.

The test cap
“Max level will be limited to 37, which will limit content requiring a higher level.”
That 37 was a test setting, and the test’s characters were wiped. It tells you nothing about launch except that content above 37 exists in the global build.
Why 45 is only a guess
Fan sites expect the global launch to start at 45, on the reasoning that global begins from the Korean version’s first season, before Chapter 1 added new regions and the level 50 cap. NC has not said so, and no English notice names a cap.
In the Korean version, the level matters well before the cap: the Daevanion growth boards unlock at levels 12, 20, 30 and 40, and four more open at 45 and need their own crystals. How those boards carry over to global is not confirmed; the leveling guide covers what is known about pace, and the beginner guide covers your first boards.
What came with the higher cap in Korea
The Korean Chapter 1 update did not just add five levels. Alongside the level 50 cap it added a new territory for each faction, larger Daevanion boards, a higher Stigma skill cap (20 to 25) with a sixth Stigma slot, and parties of five instead of four. The global Steam page already describes 5-player party content, so at least that part is in the global build from the start. The regions are on map and regions.
Where the cap bites in Korea
Some Korean content has hard level floors: the Abyss rift-zone event needs level 45, and the Space-Time Rift domination battles need level 50. Details, and why there is no global schedule for either yet, are on rifts and PvP and the Abyss.
