AION 2 Founder’s Packs compared
All three packs get you the same thing that matters most: five days of Early Access from 30 September, plus 30 days of membership. The $24.99 Standard pack already has both. Deluxe ($49.99) and Ultimate ($99.99) add cosmetics, and several of those lock to a single character, class or server the moment you claim them.

Do the extra items give stats?
No. NC lists every cosmetic in the packs as looks only:
“Unique Grade Title included in the Founder’s Pack [Vanguard of Atreia], Armor Skin [Ascended Deva (Skin: Set) (Bound)]/[Moonlit Aria (Skin: Set)(Bound)], Weapon Appearance [Weapon Skin Chest: Eternal Sun (Bound)], Pet [Black Dragon], and Wings [Blazing Sun Wings (Bound)] are appearance-only products, and no additional stats are granted.”
The supply chest is the exception to “looks only”: its scrolls, potions, Power Shards and resurrection stones are there to be used up in your first levels. The membership is the other working part of every pack; what it unlocks, the Market above all, is on the membership page, and whether any of this tips the game towards paying players is on is AION 2 pay to win.
Pick your class before you claim anything
The Steam store page does not mention this. NC’s support FAQ splits the pack items into two kinds:
“Character bound: Once claimed, the item cannot be shared with other characters.”
“Server bound: Once claimed, the item will be shared with all characters created on that server.”

In practice: the title, wings and supply chest go to whichever character claims them, and the Deluxe weapon skin only ever fits one class. If you are still trying classes out, hold off claiming until you have settled on one; NC’s FAQ says the items can still be claimed on any server after Early Access ends. The outfits, pet and membership are shared by every character you make on the same server, so settle the server as well. Both choices have their own pages: regions and servers and best class for a first character.
Prices outside the US
Steam prices each pack by store region. These are the three regions checked on the Founder’s Pack page:

On PURPLE you can also move up a tier later instead of buying twice: Standard to Deluxe is $25, Standard to Ultimate $75 and Deluxe to Ultimate $50. Those upgrades are sold on PURPLE only.
The rules that catch people out
- One pack per account. You choose one of the three tiers, on Steam or on PURPLE.
- It stays on the launcher you bought it on. A Steam pack works on Steam and a PURPLE pack on PURPLE, and during Early Access a character cannot move between the two. Which to choose is on Steam or PURPLE.
- Buying late still works. Everyone’s five days start and end together, and a pack bought once Early Access is running lets you in straight away. Maintenance can eat into the five days; the Early Access page covers what happens during them.
- Refunds. Until launch you can cancel outright. After 5 October you have 14 days, as long as you have played less than 2 hours.
Which one to buy
If what you want is to start on 30 September with a month of membership, Standard is the whole of that for $24.99, and nothing in the dearer packs makes a character stronger. The extra $25 for Deluxe is an outfit and a weapon skin for one class; the extra $75 for Ultimate adds a second outfit, the pet, the wings and a character re-edit voucher. Buy those because you want the look, and only once you know which class will wear it. If you do not care about starting early, skip the pack entirely: the game is free from 5 October.
