About AION 2 Guide

An unofficial fan guide to the global version of AION 2, the MMORPG developed and published by NC. It is written for players arriving at the global launch and is not affiliated with NC.

What it is for

Answering what a new player has to settle before and just after logging in: when the servers open where you live, Steam or PURPLE, which region, faction and class, and what the paid packs and membership change. The game has run in Korea and Taiwan since before the global launch, so a lot is already known about how its systems work there; this guide uses that, and says so, wherever the global version has not confirmed the same thing.

Where the answers come from

• Dates, prices, rules and platforms come from NC itself: the Steam store pages, NC’s announcements on Steam and on its own notice board, its support FAQ and its official videos.
• How systems work in the Korean service comes from NC’s Korean game guide, and is labelled as the Korean version on every page that uses it.
• What players reported from the Launch Scale Test is shown as their words, in quotation marks.
• Where NC has not announced something, the page says so instead of guessing.
• Words in quotation marks are copied exactly from the source they are credited to.

What it is not

Not official, not a store, and not a place for account sales, gold or boosting. Every source the guide draws on is listed on the sources page.

Found a mistake?

If a page disagrees with the game or with NC’s own announcements, that is a defect worth fixing. Changes that come from new official posts are noted in the update log. What the site collects is on the privacy page, and the terms cover use of the site.
